CNN Presents: 72 Hours Under Fire

It's likely among one of the most dangerous places a team of journalists has ever traveled for CNN. The random and indiscriminate killing of citizens in Homs, Syria made this a story the world had to see.

This one-hour documentary will expose a side of the story that rarely gets reported: the behind the scenes stories of those who helped the team of journalists along the way, the tough choices CNN executives made to keep their team safe, the dangerous journey into the heart of the onslaught, and the unfiltered account of those reporting and surviving a trip into hell.

Don't miss CNN Presents: 72 Hours Under Fire this Sunday at 8:00 pm ET, reairing at 11:00 pm and 2:00 am ET.

For starters STOP criticizing and hating on all that are muslims or arabs, the people of syria and the people that live in these middle eastern countries are not at fault for being subjected to violence and hate, the people at fault are corrupted governments and people whom either corrupt the true meaning of islam or just do wrong for their own self interest like the president of syria is doing now. there is so much hate in this world, we all say we want peace but we continue hating other. whats sad is that when there has been genocide of people in the past like the jews in world war two we somewhat realized (countries whom have working democracies) that ignoring the issue is not right, but look whats happening right now, every single day people are dying, every single day innocent civilians, woman, children, men are being killed and no government wants to help because helping the syrian people is not within their self interest. these people need help, they are dying, they are losing their families, friends and their own life, it seems as no one is looking at the horrific images in syria, no one is looking at the kids, the grief, the terrible things that are happening. PLEASE UNITED NATIONS HELP THE SYRIAN PEOPLE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HELP, NO ONE IS HELPING, PLEASE HELP SHOW THE WORLD THAT THERE IS HOPE, COMPASSION AND HOPE. why must we continue hating and not helping, its time that the nations of the world come together, its time that what is right must be done!!! UN GO HELP THE SYRIAN PEOPLE!!!! THEY ARE NOT AT FAULT, what has the world come too???

Great reporting of this atrosity! When your reporter questions what else she could have done, my answer is the same as what they did save short of stating how they would like the world to intervene. The world knows what is going on for all those brave souls caught up in this mess. The question is when will those in the world power that can do something act to help? We need pressure on our world leaders not to just to continue to hope the Assad regime will become peaceful. For now, shelling will stop in Syria when those that oppose Assad are dead or scared to say anything! Is the world OK with this? I certainly think that we in the US would hope forthe same help if our government was shelling our citizens indiscriminately.

oldgeezer, your comment is so absurd that I wonder why I am bothering to waste time with a response. Lazy Sunday I guess.
There is a huge difference between 6 thousand killed and 6 million killed. Jews were not slaughtering each other during the Holocaust. In Syria, Arabs are slaughtering each other. As they do in most of the other Muslim and/or Arab nations. That is a fact.
If you woke up as you posit and picked up a newspaper that announced that the Israelis "intervened in Syria" you would not feel "refreshed". Even if Israel thought of carrying out such your absurd fantasy which is about as likely to happen as say Hamas all of a sudden recognizing Israel, you most likely would be spewing hateful statements against the evil expansionist state of Israel.
This is tribal warfare. The further the west stays away from there, the better off. And, leave Israel out of this Syrian disaster.

After nearly 70-years of complaining about the Holocaust and making me feel guilty about how the World ignored the genocide of the Jews by Hilter in Germany, I keep thinking about how refreshing it would be to pick up the morning paper and learn that the Israelis have intervened in Syria to stop the genocide of Arabs by Assad, but I guess the Arabian community in Syria is not as valuable as the Jewish community in Germany in the eyes of the Israelis.
